Chromatherapy is an exercise by which a color therapist uses light and color to balance energy wherever our bodies are lacking. It is looked at as an alternative to medicine and can be used to aid on a mental, physical, emotional, and/or spiritual level. The color used during therapy evokes certain physical and emotional feelings; it is believed that the colors aid as follows:
Yellow- Hopeful; supports the area just above the belly button
Green- Harmonious and stability; supports the heart
Orange- creativity and ambition; supports the pelvis area
Blue- Relaxing and Peaceful; supports the throat
Purple- Immunizing and tranquilizing; supports the top of the head
Red- Stimulating and Energizing; supports the base of the spine
Color therapy as seen in the home is commonly used in bathrooms, and some kitchens. If you'd like more information click here http://www.biopulse.org/color.html, but there is a ton more information on the web about the theory.
So next time you feel you're lacking try COLOR!
